Recycle, Reuse, Reimagine

Recycle, Reuse, Reimagine

This project is an scheme designed for the local community of Burleigh Street, to encourage socialising & reducing waste. It includes 'The Mend Market' a space to take broken goods to be repaired, or to buy second hand repaired goods, to avoid waste ending in landfill.

'Re-use Re-Store' a shop for exchanging unwanted food & toiletry products for others, to avoid waste, and a social library exchange. The proposed elements of the design are all made with sustainability at its core, reusing and recycling existing materials, and incorporating biophilia to create a green hub in the heart of Cambridge.
