Caution

This series of posters hopes to highlight some of the impacts of the climate crisis that can be felt here in East Anglia, as well as in the wider world and I aim to raise awareness of the things that happen in our own community, demonstrating that the climate crisis isn't only a distant worry. Receding coastlines in Norfolk and record breaking temperatures in Cambridge highlight the close to home effects of global heating.

Another issue that I chose to study was plastic pollution in the oceans and how some common misconceptions can mislead people. Reducing demand for fish and increasing pressure on the fishing industry to practice more sustainable and less wasteful fishing practices is a more effective way of reducing plastic in the ocean than focusing solely on plastic straws.
