What story will you tell your children?

There is a powerful sadness in the way stories of ecosystems and biodiversity have adapted to include warnings and risks of extinction; these are for a generation of children, who bear no responsibility and have never known a stable climate.

Ecosystems are integral to life on earth and our dependence on them is incredibly complex. The tragic rate of ecological decline is a very emotive subject, especially for children and their parents.  

I chose to explore the relationship between storytelling and the parental desire to protect to spark engagement in activism and with an organisation which advocates for protecting ecosystems through law.
